The prayer walk was created in 2016. It was dedicated in May of 2021 as “Preacher’s Prayer Walk” to honor our retiring pastor of 30 years, Steve “Preacher” Swagger (now Pastor Emeritus). The trail is located on 50+ acres just south of our main church campus. The main trail measures almost one mile long! The entrance to the trail can be found between the D and E modulars on our church property (near the AWANA circle).
To help facilitate the use of this trail, we have created a brochure with a map of the marked trails. There are a number of “stations” marked on the trails as well. In the brochure, you can find Bible verses and suggested topics of prayer to use at each station. It is our hope that this Prayer Walk will be a great blessing to all who desire to draw closer to the Lord through prayer.
